Deep color tone, garnet, luster, healthy shine, with a viscous texture on the palate. Dominated by aromas of black cherry (Cerise Burlat), ripe mulberry, cassis jam, and prunes, with a base of damp broadleaf forest, sweet spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, licorice), red roses, black chocolate, and a complex mix of smoky and tanned leather scents, followed by nuances reminiscent of dashi, like shiitake, matsutake, and katsuobushi. The aroma is wonderful. The mouthfeel is smooth and velvety. The integrated tannins are fine. The alcohol sensation is moderate, with a balance leaning slightly towards acidity. A supple mouthfeel spreads, but in the latter part of the flavor, a fresh acidity becomes prominent, continuing with a gentle structure and pleasant aftertaste. This is a red wine with high flavor and umami, possessing the potential for aging. One or two glasses are not enough, making you crave a refill as a food wine. It has a refreshing flavor that is sought after, contrary to heavier red wines, and an acidity that makes you want to enjoy it with food.
