"RURAL" means countryside. This wine was created with the concept of a rustic wine you can drink from a teacup, using two representative varieties from Iwate.
Each variety is fermented at 20-25°C. The maceration period is up to one week.
We aimed for a red wine that minimizes tannin extraction and values the fruitiness.
Blended from three base wines, soaked with oak chips for three weeks. (The oak chips are also made from Iwate Konara oak wood)
Aromas of wild strawberries, blackberries, and herbs like red perilla, with vanilla and woody nuances.
The charm of Campbell Early and the wild berry fruitiness of Yamabudo harmonize in the mouth.
The tannins are gentle, with a well-balanced spread of acidity and sweetness.
