This is a red wine made from 100% Bijou Noir grapes grown in our own Kawakubo vineyard. Bijou Noir is a red wine grape variety specially bred at the Yamanashi Prefectural Fruit Tree Experiment Station ((Koshu Sanshaku × Merlot) × Malbec). It is a medium-bodied, easy-to-drink red wine characterized by gentle astringency and rich fruit flavors.
