Grapes are destemmed and pressed. The juice is racked and aged at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks. After malolactic fermentation and during bottling, a total of 9.6mg/L of sulfur dioxide is added.
Tasting notes: Aromas of apple, ripe pear, and banana.
It has a clear acidity that emphasizes freshness, making it easy to drink continuously. There are also hints of saltiness and bitterness, with a long finish. The aroma of fresh figs lingers in the aftertaste.
About the release process
From the desire to enjoy KAZU WINE daily, we have been working on a bag-in-box project for some time. Through a friend's connection, we were able to manufacture in La Mancha, the largest wine-producing region in Spain, and visited in September 2022. We borrowed a corner of a local winery called Bodegas Don Fadrique and spent four days and three nights making the wine.
The concept of KAZU MAX is "Wine that elevates your everyday life." To achieve a low alcohol content and a clean, easy-to-drink flavor, we harvest the grapes earlier than usual and age them in stainless steel tanks. Even though the format is casual, there is no compromise in quality. We use carefully selected organic grapes, just like in bottled wine, and produce it through the same processes as usual. Additionally, it comes with a variety of original stickers. The outer box is made of regular cardboard, so feel free to customize it by adding stickers to make it stand out. This is a confident product that we especially recommend to those who have the impression that boxed wine is of low quality. Please give it a try!
