A red wine with both depth and delicacy from long barrel aging.
Deep garnet with a blackish center. Glossy, bright, and sound. A deep, rich tone unlike what you'd expect from Hokkaido. Ripe mulberries, blackberries, cassis, dark berry jam, dried prunes, with nuances of cocoa, chocolate, black pepper, licorice, star anise, tanned leather, roasted aroma, sous bois (damp forest floor), and black truffle blend into a rich aroma. The body expands from the attack, with gentle smoothness and fine tannins. Complex and supple mouthfeel born from long barrel aging. Full-bodied yet with finesse, offering a pleasant finish. Though intense, it has a mysterious charm that makes you want to drink it repeatedly. A deep, long-aged style wine aiming for high harmony between fruit and new barrel rate, making it a unique wine among Hokkaido reds.
