Wine made from grapes grown in our own approximately 1.5-hectare vineyard overlooking Mount Iwaki, the sacred peak of Tsugaru.
All fully ripe Nebbiolo and Merlot grapes are handpicked, sorted, then vinified separately and blended after malolactic fermentation and about 8 months of aging in 228L French oak barrels.
A rich aroma featuring black fruits like plum and cassis, red fruits such as raspberry and cherry, and spices; on the palate, a complex and rich taste with powerful fruitiness and nuances of vanilla.
The tannins melt smoothly and the clear acidity that tightens the flavor leave a strong impression.
This is a full-bodied wine that beautifully weaves the elegance of the Italian Nebbiolo grape with the grace and suppleness of the Bordeaux Merlot variety.
