A "Field Blend" typically refers to wine made by fermenting multiple grape varieties grown together in a single vineyard.
For this "Field Blend," we considered the entire Takayama village as a single vineyard and fermented together the 2022 white grapes collected from various vineyards within the village, selecting the varieties with the richest flavors.
In our usual winemaking process, grapes are fermented and matured separately in tanks or barrels for each vineyard plot to produce the base wine, which is then blended before bottling. However, the "Field Blend" is made by fermenting multiple grape varieties mixed from the start, making it a product with a significantly different production method from our regular series.
