The Cabernet Sauvignon of Rivers Partner's Cuvee 2020 was made by purchasing grapes to support grape growers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Although it is a COVID-19 relief wine, it is Cabernet Sauvignon from Kadoto Farm, led by Soichi Sato, a specialist grape grower whose grapes have been adopted by famous wineries including Obuse Winery. Mr. Sato had 40 years of experience as a contracted grape grower for major manufacturers and was an award-winning cultivator in competitions, but after cultivating this vintage, he sadly passed away. This is not only a COVID-19 relief but also the final work of a genius cultivator.
You can enjoy the balance of tannins and acidity of Cabernet Sauvignon, and the rich body of the grapes. Stainless steel fermentation that lets you taste the grape flavor. The strong tannins of Cabernet Sauvignon are mellowed by the toasted oak chip flavor, making it a pleasant drink. Using Cabernet Sauvignon from the famous Nagano vineyard, Kadoto Farm, in the Partner's Cuvee series, you can fully appreciate the grape variety.
