Zuisen Shuzo / Shoukaku 53% 500ml
Regular Price ¥28,600"Shōkaku," which embodies our commitment. This is a very rare awamori created by pursuing the best sake-making using only long-grain rice produced in Okinawa.
In terms of production method, it differs from regular awamori by stopping the distillation process early, allowing only the high-quality portion of the first distillate to be collected. This achieves a balance where both aroma and flavor coexist, and it has been completed as "53-degree raw sake" without any dilution after distillation.
First, take a sip and enjoy it straight. The rich umami concentrated in a single drop will spread throughout your mouth, allowing you to savor a refreshing aftertaste. Furthermore, by diluting it with water or hot water, the aroma and sweetness will gently dissolve, providing a smooth mouthfeel. While leaving a distinct body sensation, the gentle, rounded flavor pairs perfectly with any dish.
Awamori is the only alcoholic beverage in the world that matures in the bottle, and its rich depth and smoothness increase over time, which is a significant appeal. With a bottle of Shōkaku, you can enjoy the charm of awamori at any time and in any situation.
"Shou" means "truly, supreme," and "Kaku" means "knowledge with depth and refinement." As the name "Shou Kaku" suggests, this cup is the culmination of everything we have cultivated.
