This Pinot Noir is crafted by Japanese winemaker Mr. Kimura in Marlborough, New Zealand, a renowned region for Pinot Noir. The 2019 vintage won a GOLD medal at the International Wine Challenge, the world’s largest wine competition with over 16,000 entries from more than 50 countries annually, an award given to only the top few percent.
The 2020 vintage is another great year, matching the GOLD medal quality of 2019! The grapes are 100% organic, carefully hand-picked, and all sorting is done manually.
Ripe fruits such as raspberry, strawberry, and black cherry are complemented by nuances of roasted aromas, spices, and red flowers that unfold from the glass. The taste balances pleasant acidity with enchanting red fruit flavors, finishing with refined tannins for an elegant finish.
