In 2024, compared to usual years, there was more rain from early spring, and in July and August, an abnormal heatwave continued, exposing the grapes to high temperatures and making it a challenging year. However, due to water stress, the ripeness and sugar content increased, and as a result, we were able to harvest grapes in the best condition in recent years. We used 100% Chardonnay from Omishima. The appearance has a golden hue, with aromas of tropical fruits and citrus, a pleasant expansive acidity, resulting in a well-balanced white wine. The aftertaste has a salty note, allowing you to feel the maritime nuances characteristic of Setouchi and Omishima. The 2023 vintage of the same wine has been adopted by a three-star restaurant in Spain.
