224 Winery / Delaware 2023 (White) 750ml
Regular Price ¥3,300The grapes used are fully ripe grapes from Yamagata Prefecture, a famous Delaware grape producing area. The mouthfeel is fruity, but the taste is surprisingly dry.
A shining lemon yellow. The thick disc (= water surface) and the wine tears slowly flowing down the glass suggest a rich volume of flavor.
From the moment you open the bottle, the sweet aroma of grapes overflows, bringing back nostalgic memories of earnestly trying to finish a bunch as a child. In the latter half, there are also refreshing herbal nuances.
The moment it touches your mouth, you feel a subtle sweetness, with a rich fruitiness in the first half. Then, an elegant acidity leads to a sharp finish, and the aftertaste is dry.
