Orange-tinged rosé color. Sweet, ripe aromas of red fruit compote such as raspberries and cherries, dried fruits, and amber candy. There is also a barrel-derived scent reminiscent of cocoa. Sweetness is present, with acidity and tannins gently balanced. By delaying the harvest and allowing the grapes to raisin on the vine before picking, it developed a flavor similar to a high-alcohol fortified wine.
