During the consignment winemaking era, we stored and sold wine in the warehouse of an old folk house that we rented as both an office and the representative's residence. The trade name at that time was "Kamoshika Saketen." It was named by playing on "kamoshika," the animal symbol of Kawasaki Town, and "brewing" grapes. We moved to Kawasaki Town, Shibata District, Miyagi Prefecture, and through agricultural activities, we began producing Kamoshika Wine with the hope of bringing some vitality to this town, gathering many like-minded companions, and embodying a richer life. Like this warm label created by the kind and energetic Mr. Maki Sato, who lives in Kawasaki Town, many wonderful friends have gathered, and I believe the town is becoming more attractive. Not only brewing grapes but also by gathering local friends and continuing richer activities, increasing the number of future companions who share our aspirations will eventually lead to brewing this town. This is the true meaning behind our desire to continue making "Kamoshika Wine."
