The quality improvement efforts for Cabernet Franc began with the 2020 vintage. In the second year, the 2021 vintage aimed for further growth, waiting until the grapes reached full ripeness for harvest. Printemps is also processing grapes that are not very well colored, but it possesses a strength in both aroma and flavor that is hard to believe for a Japanese red wine. Although it has a taste that goes against the trend, it has become a valuable vintage to understand the potential that tetta's Cabernet Franc holds.
