The Funpy series aims to explore the potential of edible grapes and to create a fun and happy flavor. Funpy Orange is made primarily from Delaware and Niagara grapes, with a very small amount of Kerner and Sauvignon Blanc as raw materials. It is finished in a light style to be easily accepted even by those unfamiliar with orange wine. Right after bottling, the aroma was heavy and subdued, which was nerve-wracking, but now it is floral and light, truly FUNPY. The top notes are a gorgeous nuance of tropical fruits and muscat aroma, with a ginger sensation derived from the whole cluster. The taste is dry and light. You can also sense the astringency derived from maceration.
We tasted it at various temperatures, and it seems better balanced if not chilled too much.
