Information on the "Japanese Wine" Tasting Event for Restaurants

Our company (CruX Co., Ltd.) is creating systems for the sustainable development of the Japanese wine market through media and distribution businesses related to Japanese wine.

Currently, in the media business, we operate the web media "Japanese Wine.jp" and produce the industry’s first documentary film "Vin Japonais (ヴァン・ジャポネ)". In the distribution business, we operate the professional wholesale site "Craft Wine Shop (クラフトワインショップ)" where you can purchase wines from wineries nationwide in mixed lots from one bottle, and develop "MINIVIN (ミニヴァン)" which allows you to try various wines in mini sizes. We are promoting initiatives to create a more familiar environment for Japanese wine.

As part of this initiative, we have been regularly holding "Japanese Wine" tasting events for restaurants since this year.

In recent years, the quality improvement of Japanese wine has become a hot topic, and the number of people specifically buying Japanese wine has increased. However, there are already over 400 wineries nationwide in Japan, and the number is increasing by several dozen each year. We believe it is not easy for restaurant owners to understand "Japanese wine" and propose it to their customers.
Our company intends to regularly hold opportunities to taste various Japanese wines, so that restaurant owners can deepen their understanding of Japanese wine and smoothly make proposals that allow customers visiting their establishments to enjoy Japanese wine even more. We hope to contribute in our small way.
