Information on the "Japanese Wine" Tasting Event for Restaurants

Our company (CruX Co., Ltd.) is building a system for the sustainable development of the Japanese wine market through media and distribution businesses related to Japanese wine.

Currently, in our media business, we operate the web media "JapaneseWine.jp," produce the industry’s first documentary film "Vin Japonais," and in distribution, we run the professional wholesale site "Craft Wine Shop," where you can purchase wines from wineries across Japan by the bottle with mixed orders, and have developed "MINIVIN," which allows you to try various wines in mini sizes. These initiatives promote a more approachable environment for Japanese wine.

As part of this initiative, we have been regularly hosting "Japanese Wine" tasting events for restaurants since this year.

In recent years, the quality improvement of Japanese wine has become a hot topic, and more people are specifically seeking out Japanese wines. However, with over 400 wineries nationwide and dozens more opening each year, it is not easy for restaurant professionals to fully understand "Japanese wine" and recommend it to their customers.
Our company aims to regularly hold opportunities to taste various Japanese wines, helping restaurant professionals deepen their understanding of Japanese wine and enabling them to smoothly offer suggestions that allow their customers to enjoy Japanese wine even more. We hope to contribute in our small way to this effort.
