Information on "Japanese Wine" tasting event

Our company (CruX Co., Ltd.) is engaged in creating a framework for the sustainable development of the Japanese wine market through media and distribution businesses related to Japanese wine.

Currently, in the media business, we are promoting initiatives to create a more accessible environment for Japanese wine, such as operating the web media "Nihon Wine.jp," producing the industry's first documentary film "Vin Japonais," and in the distribution business, managing a professional wholesale site "Craft Wine Shop" where wineries across Japan can purchase wines in mixed cases starting from one bottle, as well as developing "MINIVIN," which allows customers to try various wines in mini sizes.

As part of this initiative, starting this year, we will be regularly holding tasting events for the general public featuring "Japanese Wine."

In recent years, the improvement in the quality of Japanese wine has become a topic of discussion, and the number of people specifically purchasing Japanese wine is also increasing. However, there are already over 400 wineries across Japan, and in recent years, the number has been increasing by several dozen each year. Therefore, I believe it is not easy for restaurant staff to understand "Japanese wine" and to propose it to customers.
We, as a company, would like to make our humble efforts to regularly hold opportunities for tasting various Japanese wines in the future, so that general customers can deepen their understanding of Japanese wine and we can smoothly make suggestions that allow them to enjoy Japanese wine even more.
