Yellow Magic Winery / ORDINARY ROUGE 2023 (Red) 750ml

The 2023 vintage primarily features Berry A and Koshi Merlot, expressing the concept of this wine, "everyday life." A wine that accompanies daily life. An "Asian taste" wine made from Japanese grapes that can be used in various scenes. From the soft grape aroma at the top, it extends to a balanced "umami," and we took our time in the production to evoke a pleasant aftertaste.
By conducting cold maceration for over 60 days under low temperatures, we promoted the extraction of flavors from the grape skins and moderate tannins, resulting in a taste that is both "fragrant" and "umami." After fermentation, we stored it in tanks without sulfur dioxide, preventing oxidation through natural malolactic fermentation in the tank, while also allowing for changes in the smoothness of the flavor. It was then bottled, but now, a secondary bottle fermentation (M L F) is occurring inside the bottle, causing a slight "shower" effect upon opening (due to M L F, there may be floating particles on the liquid surface, but they are harmless to the body).
This wine falls under the category of red wine, but it is fundamentally aimed at being a wine that can be enjoyed chilled and smoothly. It has become a versatile smooth red wine that pairs well with a variety of dishes, so I believe both first-time drinkers and those who drink often will find it enjoyable as a 'S O I F = Soif (quenching thirst)' wine.
