Uozu City, overlooking the rugged Tateyama Mountain Range, is known for game meats like Asiatic black bear, wild boar, and Japanese deer. This rosé wine is crafted with the concept of “harmonizing” with the blessings of these mountains.
The grapes are Merlot, one of the few grown on trellises at KANATA WINERY, cold macerated, then pressed and fermented.
This rosé wine pairs not only with game meat but also with vegetables, wild plants, and medicinal cuisine.
