The color is a garnet with a solid black core. Immediately after opening, it offers subtle aromas of dry cranberry and prune fruits, along with salty nuances like dried stems and soy sauce lees, accompanied by a refreshing menthol-like scent. On the palate, it has a moist texture, with fruit flavors expanding alongside the volume of alcohol. Gradually, dry tannins and youthful acidity add complexity to the wine. The finish is relatively clean but retains the savory taste of fruit, making you want to eat something.
This red wine has nuances not only of fruit but also of salty flavors like soy sauce, making it enjoyable with various dishes such as kinpira burdock, chikuzen-ni (simmered root vegetables), yakitori, ginger pork, as well as Chinese-style dishes like chinjao rosu and hamburg steak, as long as the seasoning is not too rich.
