This is a Pinot Noir made by Japanese winemaker Mr. Kimura in Marlborough, New Zealand, which is also a renowned region for Pinot Noir. In the 2019 vintage, it won a GOLD medal at the "International Wine Challenge," the world's largest wine competition with over 16,000 entries from more than 50 countries each year, achieving a ranking in the top few percent.
The ripe fruits such as raspberry, strawberry, and black cherry are complemented by nuances of roasted aromas, spices, and red flowers, spreading from the glass.
