This wine honestly brings out the taste of high-quality Koshu grapes, highlighting the unique character of the growers and the terroir.
Because of its simple production, the quality of the grapes grown by each cultivator is expressed directly. By blending wines from two growers and aging them in tanks, the flavor deepens and the quality improves further.
The color is a pale yellow with a slight orange tint. You can sense fragrant aromas of grapefruit, white peach compote, and pineapple. The taste offers a solid umami and acidity, giving the fullest impression among the Koshu Cuvee series. You can feel the juiciness of the fruit along with the umami and a long finish. This wine’s umami quality will become even more pronounced with a bit of bottle aging.
