This wine was made by selecting high-quality Koshu grapes suitable for barrel fermentation and barrel aging. While paying attention to the balance between fruit and barrel flavors, it was slowly fermented and aged in barrels so you can fully enjoy the barrel-fermented style of Koshu grapes.
It has a refreshing citrus aroma reminiscent of early mikan and grapefruit, along with sweet and fragrant notes of pear and apple.
For the 2024 vintage, barrel fermentation was done using only old barrels. As a result, the toasty character of the barrels gives a mellow flavor like mocha cream, harmonizing with the abundant juiciness of the fruit, adding depth and complexity to the palate.
