The winery's flagship wine. A rich dry wine that fully expresses the terroir of the fertile land of Azumino.
A blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grown in our own vineyard at an altitude of 700m, aged for 14 months in French oak. It is the same blend as Bordeaux in France (Bordeaux blend). By blending, it combines the tannins and strength of Cabernet Sauvignon with the richness and softness of Merlot, resulting in a highly refined wine.
The color is a beautiful ruby. It offers aromas of ripe fruit and cassis, with nuances of coffee and chocolate from barrel aging, and rich scents of spices and cedar. You can feel the concentrated fruitiness and firm astringency (tannins), with acidity that tightens the finish. It is a full-bodied red wine with a long, complex finish and a solid structure.
