"RURAL" means countryside. This wine was created using two representative varieties from Iwate, with the concept of a rustic wine you can enjoy from a teacup.
Each variety is fermented at 20–25°C. The maceration period lasts up to one week.
We aimed for a red wine that minimizes tannin extraction and emphasizes fruitiness.
A blend of three grape varieties, soaked with oak chips for three weeks. (The oak chips are made from Konara oak from Iwate)
Aromas of wild strawberries, blackberries, red shiso, herbs, vanilla, and woody nuances.
The charming qualities of Campbell Early and the rustic berry fruitiness of wild grape harmonize on the palate.
The tannins are gentle, with a well-balanced spread of acidity and sweetness.
