Aromas of plum and raspberry are complemented by nuances of cherry and herbs, creating a sense of complexity. After the aromatic flavors, you can firmly feel the pleasant astringency derived from Merlot, leading into a lingering finish. This rosé wine pairs well with a wide range of dishes (Japanese, Western, Chinese) and can be enjoyed as a companion at the dining table. The Merlot grapes are destemmed and crushed, then placed in a tank; after a while, a portion of the juice that has turned a pale pink color is drawn off into a separate tank and fermented using the saignée method. This is a Japanese rosé wine that conveys the fullness of the fruit.
