This is the second vintage wine brewed using grapes grown in a hedge-trained vineyard planted in spring 2016 on our own farm. The farm is located on the right bank along the Hichikawa River, which flows from east to west through Katsunuma Town, featuring well-drained, mineral-rich gravelly soil.
In addition to the aroma of Japanese citrus, you can sense the aroma of tree-ripened fruits such as apricot, white peach, and pear. It features a sharp acidity followed by rich minerals and a faint, pleasant bitterness in the aftertaste, delivering an exquisite dry white wine with lingering umami.
