From the moment it is poured into the glass, a pleasant barrel aroma and scents of leaf mold, black tea, and spices like black pepper spread one after another. Furthermore, when swirling the glass, you can enjoy sweet aromas like cocoa and brown sugar syrup, along with floral scents such as violet. The harmony of the aromas is excellent, offering a complex and elegant fragrance that raises expectations for the taste just from the scent.
A fruitiness reminiscent of prunes and a moderate acidity are well balanced, spreading throughout the mouth. The flavor is rich, but the tannins are soft, giving it a tropical taste typical of Syrah. Additionally, the barrel notes provide a nice accent, and the flavor of matured red fruits allows you to enjoy the lingering finish.
