A sparkling wine made from 100% Steuben grapes from Tsuruta Town, produced by secondary fermentation in the bottle.
After aging in the bottle for 5 months, we performed disgorging (removing sediment collected at the bottle neck).
When poured into a glass, the fine bubbles rise like pearls. We named this elegant and festive sparkling wine "Shugen."
Shugen means "words of celebration" or "wedding," but it also carries the meaning of "praying for happiness."
We deliver this Shugen 2023 with wishes for the happiness of those who drink it.
