The two plots of Merlot were typically waited for until the harvest time of Cabernet Sauvignon.
Avoiding the late blight that troubles us every year has also been a factor in pulling in the harvest.
It is considered a variety that is quite difficult to mature as expected, and the area planted has gradually decreased compared to the founding period. Therefore, the regular Merlot, which was released as a regular red wine from 2013 to 2017, has been on hold since 2018.
This time, we are reviving the regular Merlot after about 4 vintages. While it is certainly different from a rich flavor, it has a spicy and green essence reminiscent of Merlot from cooler regions, along with a harmony of cassis and plum flavors. By being released after a certain period of aging, there is no confusion about when it is at its best for drinking.
