Curvedocchi / Flamingo (Pinot Noir) 2022 (Red) 750ml
Regular Price ¥4,950We used Pinot Noir from our own vineyard, with trees over 20 years old, aiming to create a gentle flavor that seeps into the body.
The year 2022 was a harsh year with most of August and September experiencing rainfall. The impact is reflected in the liquid in the form of gentle fruitiness and higher acidity.
To be honest, this vintage has been a source of great concern regarding what to do about the harvest season.
The charm of sandy Pinot Noir lies in its vibrant aroma, but if the underlying fruit is lacking, the balance will be disrupted.
As a result, the microorganisms that were moved more vigorously than usual before fermentation, along with the whole clusters added to provide complexity, somehow managed to maintain a balance.
Right after opening, it feels a bit reductive with a sense of iron and gunpowder, giving a somewhat firm impression, but for this wine, that is rather a good accent.
"I hope you can enjoy it slowly as it becomes softer and smoother over time."
