Domaine Hide / Koshu Tsubo Orange 2023 (Orange) 750ml
Regular price ¥3,740Brewed using Japan's first "pot for aging wine," developed in collaboration with Mr. Kajo Morioka, the fourth-generation head of the Kajo Kiln, a Kyoto pottery studio.
Unlike amphorae, these pots are not coated with wax inside, so the soil components and firing method directly influence the wine, giving it a distinctive flavor.
After MC fermentation of Koshu grapes, the wine was pressed and aged half in clay pots and half in tanks, then blended for a balanced taste.
A beautiful amber color. Aromas reminiscent of apricot and the pleasant bitterness unique to Koshu grapes.
With a mellow flavor, the nuances of the orange wine's grape skins add complexity and depth.
