Domaine Hide / Koshu Tsubo Orange 2023 (Orange) 750ml
Regular Price ¥3,740Brewed using Japan's first "jar for aging wine," developed in collaboration with Mr. Yoshiyoshi Morioka, the fourth head of the Kyoto pottery "Kashogama."
Unlike amphorae, the inside is not coated with wax, allowing the soil composition and firing method to directly influence the wine, resulting in a unique flavor.
The Koshu variety was pressed after MC fermentation, and the wine, aged in equal parts in a barrel and a tank, was blended in a well-balanced manner.
Beautiful amber color. An aroma reminiscent of apricots and a pleasant bitterness unique to Koshu grapes.
The mellow flavor provides a complexity and depth unique to orange wine, with nuances of the fruit's skin.
