This red wine is made from 100% grapes grown in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
The 2019 vintage is lighter and more delicate compared to other years, with a flavorful taste.
Grapes harvested at Bees Knees Vineyards at the foot of Mount Tsukuba were contract vinified. The fruit, stored at 4°C, was destemmed and crushed, then cold macerated, fermented on the skins, and pressed. It was soaked in oak chips at 1.5g/L for 4 weeks to add oak flavor.
