Cuvee des Amis is a high-end series made from carefully selected grapes grown by acquaintances who are cultivators.
Unfiltered, so it may contain cloudiness and sediment (suspended particles).
A blend of Chardonnay (74%) and Petit Manseng (26%) from Kaminoyama City, Yamagata Prefecture. After skin contact and low-temperature fermentation to enhance aroma and umami, it was aged sur lie in French oak barrels for 14 months, resulting in a complex and deep flavor.
This is a dry white wine with a rich and concentrated flavor, harmonizing aromas of tropical fruits and honey with notes of vanilla and nuts.
In 2021, the weather from September to October was exceptionally favorable, allowing the grapes to mature healthily. To match the harvest time of Petit Manseng, the Chardonnay harvest was delayed until mid-October, enabling us to produce wine from grapes with an unprecedented level of ripeness.
