Imported from the United States during the Meiji era, "Delaware" once became wildly popular as a seedless grape.
In recent years, as the number of growers has decreased, the potential of Delaware as a wine grape variety has been recognized. We entrusted experienced grape farmer Toshiaki Matoba with continuing cultivation with seeds. Made only from high-quality Delaware grapes carefully grown in the Ushinoku area of Koshu City.
Characterized by the sweet aroma unique to Delaware grapes, reminiscent of tropical fruits, you can enjoy a mild acidity and a moderately rich flavor.
