Imported from America during the Meiji era, "Delaware" once became a sensation as a seedless grape.
In recent years, as the number of growers has decreased, due to its high potential as a wine grape variety, we requested experienced grape farmer Toshiaki Matoba to continue cultivation with seeds. It is made only from high-quality Delaware grapes carefully cultivated in the Ushinoku area of Koshu City.
It features the sweet aroma unique to Delaware grapes, reminiscent of tropical fruits, and offers a mild acidity with a moderately rich flavor.
