The winery's original variety "COBEL," a hybrid of Riesling and wild grape, is cultivated in the Ichimura vineyard in Yamakita, Kagami Town, Konan City, Kochi Prefecture, a region known for its Satsuma mandarin production.
This area has excellent sunlight, wind, and soil conditions, making it an ideal environment for grape cultivation.
"Kobel" is named after the Tosa dialect word "koberu," meaning to dress up or to be a bit fancy.
Pale lemon color. Aroma reminiscent of white flowers, with scents evoking the sweetness of ripe melon-like and stone fruit varieties. The finish features a salty and mineral sensation similar to minerals.
It is a white wine with a pleasant balance of acidity and fruitiness, making it approachable and comforting.
