Shizen Sparkling Koshu is made from 100% grapes grown in our own vineyard in Makioka Town, Yamanashi Prefecture, and is produced using the traditional method (the same method as Champagne production) with a minimum of two years of bottle aging.
This wine, which pairs perfectly with Japanese cuisine, is made without blending any other grape varieties, avoiding sur lie aging in barrels and excessive malolactic fermentation to bring out the pure fruit flavor of the Koshu grape.
