The Yama Sauvignon variety is a cross between wild grape and Cabernet Sauvignon, characterized by a strong wild flavor derived from wild grapes, firm acidity, and richness.
Some of the Yama Sauvignon from Komaki was made using a winemaking method (Saignée method) that increases the proportion of grape skins. It has a mild wildness and richness, making it easy to drink, and it is a light and easy-to-drink wine that pairs well with Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisine.
It pairs well with rich meals and is recommended.
