This sparkling wine with secondary fermentation in the bottle is mainly made from Chardonnay grown in Tetta Town, Niimi City, in the northwest part of Okayama Prefecture. This product includes about one-quarter juice from Sangiovese grapes, which are also cultivated for red wine. This juice is extracted through the saignée process used in red wine production, giving it a subtle tint.
This is a rare combination of wine with the elegant taste of Chardonnay and a slight accent of Sangiovese, offering a sharp yet fully enjoyable grape flavor.
