This wine is made from late-ripened Koshu grapes harvested in Katsunuma Town, concentrated using the cryoextraction technique. It then undergoes one month of barrel fermentation in new French and American oak barrels, followed by several months of aging in old barrels.
A citrus aroma reminiscent of pink grapefruit and yuzu peel, tropical fruits, buttery nuances, and a barrel bouquet like roasted nuts. The palate is rich in fruit flavor with a well-balanced refreshing acidity and umami, continuing pleasantly through the finish.
