"Sémillon" is a Japanese white wine grape variety. It produces a fruity wine with a gorgeous aroma. Despite being a white wine, it has an eye-catching orange-tinged color and a citrusy fragrance.
As a sparkling wine, it is best enjoyed well chilled, but raising the temperature slightly reveals a honey-like impression. This sparkling wine, made by secondary fermentation in the bottle, features a pronounced tropical aroma. It is a wine that matches the image of the citrus-producing Seto Inland Sea region.
Citrus fruits ripening in clusters on the islands of the Seto Inland Sea. During the journey across the sea, they may have appeared orange on the water's surface, bathed in the warm winter sunlight. We named it "Touha," meaning orange waves, inspired by that scene and the color and taste of the wine.
