Aromas of plum and raspberry are enhanced with nuances of cherry and herbs, creating complexity. After the aromatic flavors, you can distinctly feel the pleasant astringency derived from Merlot, leading into a lingering finish. This rosé wine pairs well with a wide range of dishes (Japanese, Western, Chinese) and can be enjoyed as a companion at the dining table. The Merlot grapes are destemmed and crushed, then placed in a tank. After a while, part of the juice, which has turned a pale pink, is drawn off into a separate tank and fermented using the saignée method. This is a Japanese rosé wine that conveys the fullness of the fruit.
