Hints of almond jelly and a faint yeast-like aroma can also be detected.
Upon tasting, the fruitiness reminiscent of quince spreads smoothly throughout the mouth, with gentle acidity tightening the flavor.
There are nuances of white flowers like jasmine and a pale melon reminiscent of white-fleshed melons, with a transparent fruit finish that lingers long in the mouth.
As the fruit ripened, the distinctive aroma of Niagara diminished, while the fruitiness became fuller. Combined with the juiciness of Kyoho and the floral notes of Portland floating on the top layer of flavor, it resulted in a well-balanced taste.
