224 Winery / Delaware 2023 (White) 750ml
Regular Price ¥3,300The grapes used are fully ripe grapes from the famous production area of Delaware in Yamagata Prefecture. The mouthfeel is fruity, but surprisingly, the taste is dry.
A shining lemon yellow. The thick disc (= water surface) and the wine tears that slowly flow down the glass suggest a volume of flavor to look forward to.
The moment the cork is opened, the sweet aroma of grapes overflows, bringing back nostalgic memories of my childhood when I would try my best to eat a whole bunch. In the latter half, there are also nuances of refreshing herbs.
The moment it touches the mouth, a subtle sweetness is felt, and the first half is rich in fruitiness. Then, a refined acidity leads to a crisp finish, and the aftertaste is dry.
