Due to the intense heat, the late-harvested Merlot didn’t develop good color, so it was pressed directly as Blanc de Noir.
The Steuben Blanc de Noir and the fermented Cabernet were each barrel-aged for over six months, then blended and bottled.
Since the weather is unpredictable every year and it’s not always possible to harvest all grapes fully ripe, I believe one of the winemaker’s roles is to show the utmost respect to those grapes and bring out their best qualities.
Aged well in barrels, it has a rich barrel aroma and subtle fruitiness, resulting in a very harmonious finish that stands strong against adversity.
With the concept of "Not Defeated by the Rain," we put our gratitude to everyone into this.
