During the era of entrusted brewing, we stored and sold wine in a warehouse of an old folk house that we rented as both an office and a representative's home. The name we used at that time was "Kamoshika Sake Ten." It was named after the symbol of Kawasaki Town, the "kamoshika" (Japanese serow), and the word "brew" (醸す) related to grapes. After moving to Kawasaki Town in Shibata District, Miyagi Prefecture, we began making Kamoshika Wine with the hope of finding some vitality in this town through our agricultural activities, gathering many like-minded friends, and embodying a richer life. I believe that, like this warm label created by the kind and energetic Sato Maki, many wonderful friends are gathering, making this town increasingly attractive. Not only brewing grapes but also continuing richer activities with local friends will lead to an increase in future companions who share the same aspirations, which I believe will eventually contribute to the brewing of this town. This is the true intention behind our continued production of "Kamoshika Wine."
