Fattoria AL FIORE / momo 2025 (Rosé) 750ml
Regular price ¥3,400/
Including tax
Our definition of the wine called momo is a rosé-style wine mixing Muscat Bailey A, a variety bred in Japan, with Seibel 9110, a white grape variety.
In 2025, fermentation stopped midway, resulting in a charming finish with a slight sweetness remaining.
And all the grapes are a field blend solely from Yosuke Akiba’s vineyard in Kaminoyama City, Yamagata Prefecture.
I believe this wine reflects Akiba’s unique delicacy and stoicism, combining a slightly feminine and delicate touch that only Akiba himself, the grape producer, can bring.
That is because Yosuke Akiba of Akiba Farm is the second generation.
They already have nearly 20 years of experience, but recently the owner changed to Yosuke’s generation and has implemented various reforms.
This is a very trustworthy grower who boldly faces the grapes, sometimes taking risks in pursuit of better grapes through cultivation methods and reviewing pest control history.
In the near future, we greatly look forward to a flagship wine being born from Yosuke Akiba’s vineyard, so everyone please look forward to it!
As for the actual wine, fermentation stopped midway before completion, so there is a slight residual sweetness and a fizzy sensation on the tongue, which adds greater complexity and volume to this wine. Compared to 2024, the flavor is much richer.
It feels like a woman who has grown from her early twenties into a more composed and charming woman in her thirties.
