Each grape variety is destemmed, pressed, and racked, then aged in stainless steel tanks and blended in the above ratio. After malolactic fermentation and at the time of filling the pack, 19.2 mg/L of sulfites are added. Flavor profile: aromas of plum, red currant, and cranberry. When warmed, notes of cocoa emerge. It has acidity with soft tannins and a charming taste. Strong minerality and a solid umami flavor are present, with berry aromas lingering in the finish.
〜About the release〜
We have been planning a bag-in-box to allow daily enjoyment of KAZU WINE. Through a friend’s connection, production became possible in La Mancha, Spain’s largest wine region, and we visited in September 2022. We rented a corner of the local winery Bodegas Don Fadrique and spent 4 days making the wine.
The concept of KAZU MAX is "Wine that lifts you up every day." To achieve a low alcohol content and a clean, easy-to-drink flavor, grapes were harvested earlier than usual and aged in stainless steel tanks. Even though the format is casual, no shortcuts were taken. We use carefully selected organic grapes and follow the same process as for bottled wine. Also included are many original stickers. The outer box is a regular cardboard box, so please decorate it freely with the stickers to make it stand out. This is a confident recommendation especially for those who think "box wine is low quality." Please give it a try.
