In Shiojiri City, Nagano Prefecture, known for its cultivation of Merlot, we began contracted cultivation with 10 farmers in 1998.
Conditions such as high altitude, cool climate, and well-draining soil produce grapes with rich fruit flavors.
In particular, in the well-favored weather of 2012, we were able to harvest healthy grapes.
We focused on effortlessly bringing out the characteristics of the variety, aiming for an elegant wine rather than one that is powerful.
We use only the finest grapes selected from contract farming producers.
